The World University Games (known as the Universiade) is an international sporting and cultural festival which is staged every two years in a different city.

Australian University Sport selects teams to represent Australia in consultation with the relevant National Sporting Organisations.

In 2009 the WUSG was held in Belgrade, Serbia, 1 - 12 July. The 2011 WUSG will be held in Shenzhen in China, and the Winter Games in Erzurum, Turkey.
