Sports Recognition Award
Rules governing the Sports Recognition Award
- In order to be eligible for this award a nominee shall have made an exceptional contribution to the organisation and administration of a UTS Sports Club over a period of three years, and have achieved a high level of sporting performance in a UTS sports/club team.
- A nominee must be a member of the UTS Union.
- A member may be nominated by a UTS Sports Club after consideration by a selection committee comprising at least three members of the Club concerned or by the Union Sports Office.
- Nominations for the ‘Sports Recognition Award’ shall be called for annually when nominations are called for Blues, Intermediate Blues and Sportsperson of the Year.
- The award shall be determined by the Awards Committee.
- The recipient of the Sports Recognition Award will be presented with an official certificate and have his/her name recorded on the Union’s Sports Honour Board.
