Sports Club of the Year Award
Rules governing the Sports Club of the Year Award
- This award is designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of an affiliated sports club each year.
- In determining the award the following factors will be taken into account:
- Performance at intervarsity and in other competitions, self-promotion, sports conduct and contribution to university sport. - In order to be eligible for the award the club must be an affiliate of the UTS Union and shall have met all obligations in relation to affiliation.
- Nominations for “Sports Club of the Year” shall be called for annually when nominations are called for Blues, Intermediate Blues, and Sportsperson of the Year.
- The award shall be determined by the Awards Committee.
- The winner of the Sports Club of the Year Award will be presented with a perpetual trophy and have the club’s name recorded on the Union’s Sports Honour Board.
