Sports Club of the Year Award

Rules governing the Sports Club of the Year Award

  1. This award is designed to recognise the outstanding achievements of an affiliated sports club each year.
  2. In determining the award the following factors will be taken into account:
    - Performance at intervarsity and in other competitions, self-promotion, sports conduct and contribution to university sport.
  3. In order to be eligible for the award the club must be an affiliate of the UTS Union and shall have met all obligations in relation to affiliation.
  4. Nominations for “Sports Club of the Year” shall be called for annually when nominations are called for Blues, Intermediate Blues, and Sportsperson of the Year.
  5. The award shall be determined by the Awards Committee.
  6. The winner of the Sports Club of the Year Award will be presented with a perpetual trophy and have the club’s name recorded on the Union’s Sports Honour Board.
