The Union operates four bars
The Union's responsible drinking policy ensures that all members of the university community can enjoy themselves in a pleasant, relaxing and clean environment. The bars sell a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, as well as coffee, cakes and snacks. Each bar provides a games area with pool tables and arcade games and runs regular competitions. The bars host weekly entertainment events, run product promotions, have great prize give-aways, weekly happy hours and trivia, check out 'What's On!'.

Responsible Service of Alcohol, every UTS Union Bars follows a responsible Service of Alcohol policy.
UTS Union House Policy:
- No service to anyone under 18
- Service to members of the UTS Community and their guests only
- No service to anyone intoxicated or approaching intoxication
- Zero tolerance for drunken and disruptive behaviour
- No service to people purchasing drink for anyone intoxicated or approaching intoxication, or for anyone who has been previously refused service
- Staff will not serve a drink that contains more than 60ml of spirit (two nips)
- During Happy Hours, the staff will not serve more than 2 drinks per customer, will not serve any drink that contains more than 30ml of spirits and will not serve shooters.
