Mission Statement
The Mission of the UTS Union is to enhance the quality of life and broaden the learning experiences of the UTS community.
It does this by the provision of:
- a range of non-academic services and facilities;
- social, cultural, recreational and sporting programs.
Goals and Objectives Statement:
- Services Function
To provide needed and wanted goods and services, at convenient and accessible locations and opening hours, and at the lowest prices consistent with UTS Union's other goals and constraints. - Welfare Function
To support and enhance the overall educational goals of the University, particularly through assisting the promotion or provision of efficient welfare facilities. - Places to Go Function
To provide convenient, attractive places for students and others to go, to meet, to relax and rest, and to have fun. - Student Activities Facilities
To provide suitable facilities and programs for student activities, meetings, and deliberations, which enhance and support the social and cultural development of the UTS community. - Student Sports Facilities
To provide suitable facilities and programs for student sports and recreational activities, which promote and develop the health and well being of the UTS community. - Model Organisation Function
To provide for the campus community an example/model of a highly ethical, proactive and professional organisation. - Leadership
To promote student involvement and responsibility within the campus community.
